When I began this site years ago I said that it would be a work in progress and it still is.
And it is in need of some major updating. The initial impetus for its creation was to post my “Dispatch from China,” a journal of my life and times in China. I have been writing these dispatches for over ten years now and most of you have been receiving by e-mail as they are completed. The hope was to archive the entire series with supporting pictures and graphics. I have fallen far short of that.
I also wanted to include sections on my activities working and playing in Shanghai and Sanya and throughout China. I have done a little better at that, but not much … there are some significant gaps that I will try to fill in now. So check it periodically, if you find it interesting.
